The Lost Generation

"They push... We push... Every once in a while, the light breaks through the clouds and a world beyond the war glimmers. Yeah I know, huge inspiration from the game's prologue to the campaign, but one that really brings out the fact that neither side was good nor bad in this war. That the tragic years of the war that would supposedly end all future wars, the years where millions died on all corners of the globe, had stopped nothing.

To this day wars rage on, but thanks to those who gave their lives in places like the Arabian Desert, the skies over France and Germany, the seas that hold the distance between our nations and the muddy trenches that many counted not for the time they would go over the top, but the time that they would likely give their tomorrow so that we may have our today.

Those men and women gave their lives for all of their respectful countries, may they all rest in peace.
